With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2007-2008 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2007-2008 continue to be dished out with the WORST TEAM FACED BY ROVERS THIS SEASON.

THE WINNER: DERBY COUNTY.

When asked to simply leave the name of the team you believe have been the WORST Team faced by Rovers this season most felt Derby County should be the Award Winner, so (unwanted) congratulations go to Derby for being the best worst team to face us!!!

Without wanting to be overly cruel to the Rams they were probably the worst team in Premier League history, so it is little surprise that they were seen (and quite unanimously) as the worst team we faced. However, this didn’t stop them from taking the lead against us at both Ewood Park and Pride Park (I’m pretty certain they did in both matches?!?!) before we went on to do the double over them.

Good luck to them (and of course Robbie Savage) next season though; if they do return to the Premier League when we face them again I’m sure that they will have improved markedly.
