Bolo Zenden has confirmed that Blackburn Rovers have made him an offer to be a Blackburn Rovers player for 3 months.

Whilst yet to reach any sort of agreement the offer is live and it is believed that Leeds United are also interested in the former Dutch international.

But with Rovers able to offer Premier League football for 3 months, and beyond that hopefully, it does appear that on the surface that Rovers have the edge.

Zenden told Sky Sports – ‘Blackburn have made me an offer, but we have not yet reached agreement, their interest is very serious.

‘They are in a bad predicament and they need experienced players due to their league position – but that is the same situation for other teams interested in me.’ (Football parlance – ‘someone else make me an offer’)

Having said all of that the smart word on the street is that Zenden will not be joining Rovers, the reasons are unknown but after the weekend’s activities it appears Rovers could be OK without adding to the playing staff.
