Blackburn Rovers face another big game in their quest to secure a Championship play-off place tonight, as they travel to The Den to take on Millwall.
Following their 1-1 draw with automatic promotion-chasing West Brom on Saturday afternoon, Rovers go into the game four points adrift of the play-offs, with three games of the season remaining.
As a result, Tony Mowbray’s side will surely have to win all three of those games to have any chance of securing that top-six spot, and the shot of promotion that comes with it, this season.
Millwall however, currently sit ninth in the Championship table, just two points adrift of sixth-placed Cardiff, meaning this is unlikely to be an easy task for Rovers.

Perhaps with that in mind, Mowbray has named a Blackburn side that show just one change from the one that started both the win at Cardiff and draw with West Brom in their last two games, with Elliott Bennett replacing Ryan Nyambe – who drops to the bench – at right-back, while Ben Brereton returns to the matchday squad after completing his three-match ban.
Taking to Twitter to react to that team news, plenty of Rovers fans were keen to have their say on their side’s starting lineup for such an important game.
Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.
All boils down to this. Win we stay in, a draw/defeat & we go out! If we can start the way we finished against WBA we should bag the BIG W. Millwall are no slouches and will be looking to keep their dream alive.

Shame to see Nyambe dropped. Would have liked to see Davenport, Brereton starting

Why is Nyambe on the bench? 🙈

Shame about Nyambe. Clearly didn’t feel 100% hence the change on Saturday. (Or that Mowbray wants a more attacking fullback).
Happy to see Samuel given another chance. A strong bench too. Come on. Huge game. #Rovers https://t.co/aaoQQywhKh
