DEFENCE:
Wael Gomaa, 31-year-old. Has had a gentlemen’s agreement with Mark Hughes that he will join Rovers in the January transfer window.
Stephen Warnock, 26-year-old. Has been linked with a swap move plus cash for Lucas Neill.
MIDFIELD:
Jason Koumas, 28-year-old. Mark Hughes has been keen on the Welshman since he said he wanted to leave and re-join Cardiff, but Cardiff weren’t willing to pay the amount that West Bromwich Albion wanted. Hughes recently has sent out a scout to keep tabs on him.
David Dunn, 27-year-old. Has admitted that if the chance to rejoin Blackburn came along he would take with both hands.
ATTACK:
Amr Zaki, 24-year-old. Says, “It would be a dream come true if I would join the premiership.” With Blackburn leading the chase for the young Egyptian it could work out for him.
