Prices reduced for Chelsea’s visit

Having been drawn against defending Premiership Champions Chelsea in the third round of the Carling Cup, the date and time of Blackburn Rovers’ clash have now been revealed.

Rovers’ tie against the 2004-2005 League Cup Winners will take place at Ewood Park on Wednesday 25th October with an 8pm kick off. Ticket prices have again been reduced, as they were for the Salzburg UEFA Cup home tie. Rovers’ managing director Tom Finn said:

“We hope this move, which has been agreed after consultation with Chelsea, will help attract a bumper attendance for what promises to be a great cup tie against the reigning English champions.”
