Rovers Willing To Let Roberts Go

Blackburn Rovers striker Jason Roberts is understood to be on his way out of Ewood Park.

Skysports.com understands that Rovers will listen to offer for the 32-year-old who has often struggled to hold down a regular first team place under Sam Allardyce. Roberts ended last season quite strongly and does posses some of the qualities that Allardyce likes in his strikers, however, as JR is in the final year of his contract (and a new one isn’t likely to be offered) he’s available for the right price.

Should offers come in above £750,000 it’s understood that the Grenadian International would be allowed to leave Rovers, and one of his former clubs West Bromwich Albion have been linked with a move for the experience striker this summer.

However, Queens Park Rangers are understood to be showing an interest now.
