Sometimes it’s hard to pick out a standout performer, sometimes not. The Blackburn MotM from our three-one defeat at Griffin Park against Brentford on Saturday perhaps one of those occasions when it wasn’t as easy, as it never is when you lose, but we’ve still found one….

Given the options of those involved, be that as part of the starting XI or having come into the game to make the impact as a sub (obviously a player that comes off the bench to be voted as such would have!), a Blackburn Man of the Match has been found.

This was Tunnicliffe, who with 37% of the voting gained this ahead of Olsson on 25% – this pair finished someway ahead of the rest.

Poll findings:-

Tunnicliffe 37%
Olsson 25%
Gestede 12%
Marshall 12%
Substitute: Lowe (on 79) 12%
Steele 2%
Baptiste (Off 79) 0%
Hanley 0%
Duffy 0%
Conway (Off 67) 0%
Williamson (Off 67) 0%
Evans 0%
Substitute: Dunn (On 67) 0%
Substitute: Rhodes (On 67) 0%

If a game ends in defeat picking out a ‘Man of the Match’ is often the last thing that you want, but it still needs doing and our Fulham loanee, formerly with Man United, is the one we went for here.

Would Tunnicliffe wining the MotM vote be one that you would agree with? The only way to let us know would be by having your say below!
