The opening Blackburn match of the 2017/2018 Sky Bet League One season will be against Southend United at Roots Hall on Saturday. A Match Preview will come nearer the time, however, for now it’s over to you!!

Dropping into League One is a far cry from the days when Rovers were winning the Premier League and regularly competing at the highest level, however, it is what it is. Circumstances OFF THE PITCH (which shouldn’t have influenced and impacted events at Ewood Park, but clearly have) have made a major difference.
Rovers are in League One now though and we accept this and hope the Manager can be given the correct backing (both on and off the pitch) to take this famous old club back to our rightful level. However, we’ll take it a game at a time and look for three points in Essex.
Will we achieve this??
