Gestede Up For Championship Player

Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede has been nominated to become The Championship Player of the Month for November.

Gestede can blow hot and cold at times, however, that’s the type of footballer that he is and five goals in five appearances isn’t a return that anyone can scoff at and this has to give him a superb chance of winning this but it’s also his all round game that bring others into play that could help him.

However, one thing that could work against him (by all accounts) is the he wasn’t at his best (some said he was poor) against Leeds United??

The Benin International striker is up against striker Andre Gray (Brentford), midfielder Alex Mowatt (Leeds United) and goalkeeper Darren Randolph (Birmingham City) with the winner to be announced on Friday morning on Sky Sports News HQ so we’ll await this announcement.
