Newly appointed Blackpool manager Barry Ferguson has strengthened his attacking options, signing David Goodwillie on loan until the seasons end. After spending the first half of the season at Dundee United, Goodwillie returned to Blackburn but a loan move was always on the cards.

The Championship outfit sits in 14th place and Barry Ferguson is looking to rectify this, with Goodwillie his first key signing. Blackpool visit Ewood Park this Saturday, however under loan regulations, Goodwillie will be ineligible to face Blackburn.

Hopefully David finds some form at Blackpool, either earning a run at Rovers next season or finding himself a potential permanent suitor.
