Blackburn Rovers have this morning announced that Joshua King has moved to the club on a permanent basis after a short two month loan spell.

King, who has bagged two goals in his eight game loan spell, has been a hit with fans who have enjoyed the pace he brings to the side.

When the deal was initially formalised to bring him in on loan from Manchester United it was thought a clause was in the arrangement to firm up the deal if need be and that seems to have been exercised by the club.

‘I’ve enjoyed my time here, we’ve a great group of lads and I think I’ve settled in well,’ said King, who spoke to the official site.

‘I’m happy to be here and I’m really looking forward to the next two-and-a-half years that I’ve signed for.

‘Everybody has made me so welcome here, I feel comfortable here, I’m happy to make the deal permanent.’

King has signed a deal that sees his stay at Ewood Park last until 2015.

Welcome to Ewood Park (properly) Josh.
