Rovers are starting to feel the difference under Henning Berg, full back Martin Olsson has explained.

Although still early doors under the Norwegian and without a win in 3 games the benefit is starting to show and Martin has passed brief comment to that effect.

Olsson told the Lancashire Telegraph – ‘I am not going to say anything bad about [former manager Steve] Kean, he was good in his way as well, but Berg was a legend when he was playing.’

‘It is still very early, he has only been here a week, but he does a lot of tactics like working the whole team instead of the back four. It won’t take a week to change but it is everyone together and I think it has been shown on the pitch.’

It’s been noticeable in the last two games the improved level of performance. Not perfect and certainly not without flaws… but an improvement.

The results are surely about to follow.
