Doncaster defender Tommy Spurr is reportedly having a medical at Rovers this morning, ahead of making a free transfer move.
Spurr, a left back, is out of contract this summer, having stalled on a new deal at Doncaster Rovers and with Rovers short of a dedicated left back with experience, Bowyer appears to have identified the former Sheffield Wednesday Academy graduate as a good low cost option to supplement the squad.
Expect this one to be fairly straightforward (famous last words)…
