Rovers have this afternoon completed the signing of Leicester City’s Ben Marshall, who has signed a four year deal at the club.
Marshall has completed the paperwork formalities and a medical at the club, with the fee declared as ‘undisclosed’ although it is thought to be in the vicinity of £1m.
The 22 year old is an attacking player who operates mainly as a winger but has been known to play in behind a striker in a central role.
He is also familiar with some faces at Ewood Park, having worked under assistant manager Terry McPhillips in the Crewe youth side, and played in the same team as Grant Hanley.
