Rovers given Wigan incentive

Rovers have been given an extra incentive to book their place in the FA Cup semi finals after being handed a potential tie with Wigan in the semi-finals.

Rovers will first have to overcome Milwall in their Quarter Final replay on Wednesday night, which is no easy task judging by the first meeting this afternoon and the Rovers weaknesses so evidently on display.

But a day after Dave Whelan confessed his dream draw would be to play Blackburn in the semi finals, his vision has come one step closer to fruition with the draw which will have all three teams involved delighted at the lot they’ve been given.
