At 12 noon today Rovers will find out who their UEFA Cup first round opponents will be. With Rovers being amongst the top seeds they will avoid the “big guns” in the first Round, played over two legs.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian World Cup star Shilla Illiasu is set to undergo a trial with the club. Despite the midweek signing of Dutch International Andre Ooijer and the possible arrival of Wael Gomaa, the highly rated Egyptian International, Hughes has decided to take a look at central defender Illiasu, who has already had a trial with Arsenal.
