Interesting news to be filed under ‘really?’ is that Dean Saunders is making a serious push to get Tugay out of retirement and join his Wrexham side as the former Rovers coach looks for re-inforcement outside of the transfer window,

Rovers legend Tugay retired at the end of last season after 8 glorious years at Ewood Park and is now taking his coaching badges in an attempt to make a serious move into coaching (Note to Sam – Keep an eye out for when he is qualified).

But the Turk would be free to move back to a playing role as and when he deems fit as he is not bound by the transfer window as he is not registered to play for anybody – now it up to Dean Saunders, who worked with Tugay under Graeme Souness to convince Tugay Wrexham is the place to be.

A good story to kick off the day.
