Vital Blackburn’s most recent poll asked “With a replay secured how far (honestly AGAIN? not just hopeful!) will we go in the FA Cup now?” Most still think round five.
Wednesday night sees Rovers face Arsenal at Ewood Park in the FA Cup fifth round replay with Manchester City awaiting the winner in the Quarter Final.
Prior to the goalless draw at the Emirates Stadium not many people fancied Rovers’ chances of progressing much further than that day so the poll was ran again…
The majority still think that we’ll do well to overcome one of the best sides in English football today, arguably in European football and as such 54% think it will still be round five and out! Should we overcome the Gooners then 31% think we’ll go all the way to Wembley, providing of course the Final is in fact even played there!

5th Round – 54%
Quarter Final – 6%
Semi Final – 9%
Final – 31%
Despite sadly out of Europe in the week (still gutted now!) following the win over Portsmouth on Sunday afternoon thoughts of another Europe campaign next season were very much strengthened. With two fronts this season still viable options to make this possible next season along with the Intertoto Cup if needed during the summer the current poll is asking, Can Rovers make it into Europe again next season; if so by which means?
