The Lads On Fire

Adam Armstrong took a little time to make his mark at Ewood Park, but when he did the forward hasn’t looked back.

Going into the weekend, Armstrong had been banging the goals in, which did enough to claim him the League 1 Player of the Month.

His brace against Blackpool kept his hot streak going, keeping Blackburn very much on course for a return to the Championship at the first attempt.

Teammate Elliott Bennett, who has himself struck form at the right time, has bigged up Armstrong, who now has seven goals in as many games.

On-loan Newcastle forward Armstrong is most definitely on fire and the Blackburn faithful knew this and hope we can keep him.

We’ll get the season out of the way then counter the potential topic of keeping him in Lancashire into the next campaign, which Newcastle might have other ideas about? However, being a Championship side would certainly help, albeit on an extended loan if nothing else.
