Vital Blackburn’s most recent poll, suggested by govtpros asked “Who was quoted, “Why do you want to sign Zidane when we have Tim Sherwood?” Uncle Jack is the man.
This may seem an unusual poll but I’d suggest it is again part of govtpros’ on going efforts for people to retain an interest in our past not just the present and future, this tests how much attention you paid to Rovers past.
Of course the man rumoured to have said “Why do you want to sign Zidane when we have Tim Sherwood” was none other than Uncle Jack. 80% were right. Some responses have been for comedy value as although the thought of the Bowen (3%) uttering such words is as humorous as Jack Straw (1%) and Maggie Thatcher (1%).
