Vital Blackburn’s most recent Poll, suggested by Lets Do The Samba asked “Will Benni be back to his old self next year and bang us 20 goals next season?” he was unlucky, but he WILL be back!!!

It’s been a frustrating season for us as far as Benni McCarthy has gone, but he has also shared our frustration and has vowed to be back with a bang next season and most of us believe that he will, 56% thinking that he has just been unlucky this season.

27% however, are not so concerned, and don’t even care so long as Roque Santa Cruz keeps scoring!!! Surprisingly 13% think that he has lost it with the final (a SMALL minority) 4% thinking we should sell him.

So in summary
Ye just unlucky this season – 56%
Nah he has lost it now – 13%
We should sell him he is no good anymore – 4%
I don’t care we have Santa Now :):):) – 27%

The current poll, suggested by The Rovers Players is asking, “Man of the Match v Birmingham City?

  • You don’t become a bad player overnight do you so Benni WILL be back. Class is permanent, form is temporary DON’T forget this dudes!!!!

  • I agree – but I think it will come down to whether Roberts sticks around and if he doesn’t who our new striker will be…

  • Yeah if Benni Mac was through on goal he wouldmnt miss those. But similarly he struggles to make those runs… can we just merge Benni and J-Rob together????!!!

  • Benni must really really work hard over the summer, I think his lack of form has not been solely down to being linked with Chelsea, as there was never a concrete offer, I think it may have had something to do with this, however once he started not producing im not sure he knew how to re-act at being dropped – especailly at a club like Rovers, I dont mean any offense to the club I support, but im sure he saw himself as one THE star men and then to be overlooked, must have taken him back to his Porto days
