The League One season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.

Shrewsbury and Doncaster maintained unbeaten starts with away wins at AFC Wimbledon and Blackburn, respectively. The Shrews have won two from two as have Donny’s, this victory at Rovers, who went into the campaign as title favourites, means Tony Mowbray’s side have lost both games.

Peterborough are another side to win both games so far, a 4-1 victory at Bristol Rovers means Posh are second on goal difference and the Pirates bottom of the pile – Bradford’s win at Gillingham means the Bantams are another of the teams with a 100% record.

The early leaders though, albeit on goal difference, helped by a 3-0 win over last season’s League Two champions Portsmouth at the Kassam Stadium, are Oxford.

Going into the weekend Rotherham, of course dropping into League One from the Championship, were bottom but a thumping 5-0 win over Southend at the New York Stadium saw the Millers rocket up the table into the top-10.

Here’s a round-up of the League One results.
