Injuries can’t always be helped and some players are just unlucky, Chris Brown’s one of them with the Blackburn Rovers forward ruled out for another six weeks at least.

Brown’s a player some questioned when Blackburn Manager Gary Bowyer even brought him to Ewood Park with the former Doncaster Rovers forward not really doing much to prove people wrong!!

However, we’ve not seen that much of him to make a true judgment have we??

Rovers aren’t in a position to waste money and as much as he’ll not be on the sort of money some of his predecessors would’ve been he’s still been earning money without (I’m sure unlike some of those he would prefer to be doing this is his defence) doing much for it with his injury record at Ewood.

It was confirmed by Bowyer on The Official Blackburn Rovers Website before the 2-0 win against Ipswich Town that he needs to have an operation (a minor one) on his knee and that’ll mean he’s going to be out for the next six weeks at least.

We can safely say Brown isn’t going to get a new contract when his existing one expires at Ewood is he!! With all due respect to him at least he shouldn’t.
