Paul Lambert secured his first win at Ewood Park as Blackburn boss on Friday when Rovers saw off Rotherham one-nil.
Lambert admitted it ‘wasn’t a great game’ and, as expected, Rotherham ‘made it difficult’.

It was ‘all credit’ to Blackburn though, he felt, that Rovers were able to ‘see a game through’ having not been able to play as he would have wanted with him ‘delighted.’
But Lambert does know the performance wasn’t where his side are as Rovers are ‘much better than that’ but he credited Rotherham for not allowing his side to perform his way.
