Blackburn defender Shane Duffy, signed from Everton last season of course, got his first Rovers goal of the season in midweek against QPR.

A ‘greater threat’ is something the Irishman, and despite his clear Liverpudlian accent he is an Ireland international isn’t he, has spoken a lot about this season and how he felt he should be doing better with the chances he’s had.

He’s had a good fair few too, which he’s not been able to convert! On Tuesday though he was stronger than QPR ‘keeper, beating debutant Alex Smithies to the ball with a header then he forced the ball over the line to put Blackburn ahead for the first time.

Rovers lost this lead, regained it again through Jordan Rhodes but poor defending once more saw it again lost 10-minutes from time in the two-two draw at Loftus Road.

Duffy speaks his goal and the game, which he feels was a good point but frustrating all the same that it wasn’t all three, as well as the injury to Tommy Spur and among other things including – all being well! – the wins coming soon, in this clip below.

You can also hear what Gary Bowyer had to say following the game too!

He speak the game itself and the above mentioned injury to Spurr, which didn’t end up being as bad as it first looked.

Rovers will be looking for that elusive first win of the season against Charlton at Ewood Park on Saturday, but will they get it?
