Etuhu And Blackburn Agree Exit

Blackburn Rovers have come to an agreement with Dickson Etuhu for the midfielder to leave the club with immediate effect.

The 32-year-old Nigerian International came to Ewood Park from Fulham in 2012 for £1.5m, however, injuries have always restricted his impact and when involved he didn’t exactly set the place alight did he!!

A statement on The Official Website this morning confirmed his exit, it read: “Blackburn Rovers Football Club and Dickson Etuhu confirm the player’s departure from the club by mutual agreement.

“The club thanks Dickson for his work and dedication during his time at Ewood Park and wishes him all the best for the future.“

In his two-years with Blackburn (his contract still had another two-years to run) he was limited to just 24 first-team appearances but was one of the clubs highest earners.

Good luck Dickson but you’ll not be missed and weren’t in Gary Bowyer’s plans anyway.
