The views of dallydally on Gary Bowyer, who feels it is time – based on last season and not just two-matches this time round – for Blackburn to change mangers.

In a thread initially in the forum they said….

How long Venkys before you replace this inept Manager?

2 games in and 2 losses. His priority tonight (Tuesday) was to field a side that would win, get Rovers to the next round and drive up income.

Verdict = he totally failed.

Apart from a 2nd home defeat after just 2 games he has demonstrated again that he simply hasn’t got what it takes to move this Club forward. He might have steadied the ship – indeed he has – but that’s where it ends.

I hope he is replaced and soon as we will go nowhere under his “leadership”.

Ahh, it’s easy to say the boss goes but who comes in to replace Bowyer if Rovers and Bowyer did part company I hear you say?

This has also been looked at with Nigel Pearson, also in the forum, offered up as an alternative option….

I’ve had enough. Some would say “What after only two games?” but it goes back way beyond that. Bowyer has not got what it takes and from now on I will be banging the drum for change.

He picked the side tonight (Tuesday) so when he drones on about “disappointment” and “it makes it a little bit easier for you when you are picking the team for Saturday at Huddersfield.” this just doesn’t rub any more.

They are your signings, your choices, your players. Thanks for some stability Gary but that is where it ends. If the Club wants to progress and get back to the Premier League we need a different guy at the helm.

Pearson in for me!!!
