Less Tracking More Buying!!

I don’t think we need to know from what Sky Sports understands to know that Leon Best and Ruben Rochina would be players that we’re “open to offers” for do we!! Neither have a Blackburn Rovers future really.

The words of wisdom from Sky Sports today are that we are seeing interest shown in both. Rochina we know of speculated interest from Granada and other clubs in Spain but Championship interest has been shown in transfer listed striker Best??

Sky say that a number of sides are tracking both, I say we want less tracking and more buying!!

Both will be on good wages that we’ll be looking to get off the bill but it’s these wages that might make them difficult to shift and in particular Best, however, we can but hope that his loan with Sheffield Wednesday last season did enough for clubs (maybe them included??) to want to take him off our hands.

Even nominal fees would (in my opinion) be more than sufficient to secure them as it would prevent us having to pay them off and help us conform more to the new Financial Fair Play regulations.

Another that is available for transfer is Jordan Slew, his move to Rovers hasn’t worked out at all as planned and he doesn’t have a future under Gary Bowyer. Ross County had him on loan last season and are understood to want him permanently but they haven’t made an offer yet and latest speculation is that Port Vale are sniffing around.
