Morris Helps Fleetwood To Promotion

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Josh Morris is today celebrating promotion to League 1 with Fleetwood Town.

Morris ended the season on loan at The Highbury Stadium and played a key role in helping Fleetwood into the League 2 Play-Offs, with them winning the Wembley Final against Burton Albion on Bank Holiday Monday to continue their accent up the footballing pyramid.

Before the game Morris would’ve been left disappointed by the news that Gary Bowyer had transfer listed him, however, that probably didn’t come as too much of a surprise to him as he hadn’t been featuring in his plans anyway.

Congratulations to Morris, and Fleetwood, I wouldn’t be in the least bit surprised if he left Ewood Park for The Highbury Stadium on a permanent basis this summer with Rovers likely to grant him a free transfer??
