The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Rotherham United and Blackburn Rovers this Monday.
Rotherham United host Blackburn Rovers on Monday January 1 for the game at The New York Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.
Referee: Martin Coy
Assistant Refs: Gareth Mellor and Paul Hobday
Fourth Official: Geoffrey Liddle
Match Day referee Coy has officiated 20 games in 2017/18 with a return of 37 yellow cards and three red cards.
He took charge of 25 matches in 2016/17 mostly at National League level and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 84 yellow cards and one red card.
He was most card happy in the match between Barrow and Forest Green Rovers with a total of nine yellows being shown.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
