Rovers attacker Ruben Rochina is set for talks over his future at Blackburn, with his loan spell at Spanish La Liga side Rayo Vallecano coming to an end.
Rochina was shipped out on loan in January after complaining about a lack of first team action – and both the manager and the player are keen to know what lies ahead in the future.
“We`ll have to have a chat and see what he wants to do,” Bowyer told the Lancashire Telegraph.
“I know he wants to play football and I understand that. He`s away from home, too, so it becomes even harder when you`re not playing.
“But he`s someone who can win you a game so we will have to sit down and have a chat.”
Rochina has often been seen as something of an enigma at Ewood Park, with his technical ability often overshadowed by his infuriating ability to pick the wrong option.
Will be an interesting summer ahead for the Spaniard.
