A group of Blackburn fans have decided to help save Chorley FC from financial ruin, by all paying to attend Chorley’s home game on January 7th vs North Ferriby Utd.
Former Rover Gary Flitcroft is currently the manager of the club, and has previously asked Rovers fans to adopt the cash strapped club as a second team.
On the day, Rovers will be playing away at Newcastle in the FA Cup, however for fans not making the journey up to the North East for various reasons, traveling down the road to Chorley would be very much appreciated.
Originally set up by protesting Blackburn fans, the plan is to raise as much money for our local club as possible, whilst showing our current owners Venkys, that our money can go elsewhere if we are not appreciated at Ewood Park, but whether you are a protester or not, your money could be vital in the saving of Chorley FC.
The admission price is £9 for the game at Victory Park, and I ask as many of you as possible to make the journey.
We hope that with our help, Chorley FC can continue to opperate as a football club, for both its fans and for the sake of the local community it provides for.
