Blackburn Rovers have a really quick turnaround in the SkyBet Championship as Nottingham Forest are the second opponents in four days, they’ll be at Ewood Park this evening.

This is a match also being shown LIVE on Sky Sports with Paul Lambert looking to add a Nottingham Forest win to the one secured over Rotherham United (his first at Ewood as Blackburn manager) on Friday evening.

Rovers are now unbeaten in seven matches with some (I think) real momentum building up, however, Forest played on Friday evening (drawing 1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers) and are also on a mini run of form.

Lambert isn’t thought to have any new injury worries to content with so should select the same squad, perhaps the same starting eleven that won 1-0 in a battle against Neil Redfearn’s Rotherham.

Nottingham Forest welcomed Jamie Ward back from the substitutes bench against Wolves after injury so he might start.

I’m not expecting (these levels have risen a bit though) a Rovers win, however, with (I think) a bit of momentum growing and Lambert brought in to get results this is a match we need something from.

We certainly wouldn’t want Forest to leave with the points but this could be a draw?? I’m going to go for another Rovers win though, 2-1 perhaps!!
