The September nominations for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month Award are:

Paul Hurst (Shrewsbury Town)
Only a late Blackburn equaliser denied Hurst`s Shrewsbury side a magical seven wins from seven games in the month. His superbly drilled team sit on top of League One. The belief his players have in him is clear for all to see.

Stuart McCall (Bradford City)
Losing a Wembley play-off final often haunts a team for months. McCall has dispelled any lingering gloom brilliantly, blending new signings to a trusted core of players and guiding Bradford to a 16-point haul from seven games.

Tony Mowbray (Blackburn Rovers)
After two successive losing seasons at Ewood Park which culminated in May`s relegation, instilling new hope is not easy. Mowbray has managed it quietly yet skilfully, lifting the mood as Rovers earned 13 points from a possible 18.

Paul Warne (Rotherham United)
Nobody felt the hurt of Rotherham`s relegation more than Warne. It underscored his determination to make amends this season. His side`s five wins in seven games, scoring 15 goals in the process, show that he is on the right track.

Winners will be announced on Friday 6th October 2017.
