Shaw on the brink

|

Rovers Managing Director is reportedly on the brink of the sack after the club started to hold directors accountable for the ongoing shambles at the club.

The move is likely to be confirmed in due course as the club’s owners appear to take an interest in how a club can have 5 managers over the course of a season.

Fans have longed called for the owners to take a look at the boardroom structure at Ewood Park, which has been destructive ever since a huge fallout around the New Year period over control issues.

But Shaw looks like he has ‘lost’ the war with the Henning Berg compensation claim still rumbling on and Shaw is being blamed for the excessive amount of money due to the Norwegian through clauses in his deal, who was in charge at Rovers for just 10 games.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Shaw, former head honcho of Lancashire neighbours Preston North End, ‘was presented with a letter from the club`s Indian owners and told to remain at home pending an investigation into the amount of compensation due to Henning Berg, who was sacked as manager after only 57 days in charge at the end of December.’

And the news is unlikely to stop there with at least one more staff member due to pay the price…
