Unhappy? Really?

Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes has dismissed claims that he was ever unhappy at Blackburn Rovers, after reacting to a few stories that made the papers around transfer deadline day.

Reports surfaced that Rovers star striker was upset that a move to Wigan failed to materialise, with the Daily Mail even printing a story to that effect.

Even the Daily Express has been on the case in the last 48 hours, with a story surfacing that Wigan are after an emergency loan move for Rhodes, before planting a firm bid in January.

But the hitman has batted away such claims, pigeon holing them as nonsense.

Rhodes told the LT – “I saw a couple of newspaper articles after the deadline and they said ‘Jordan Rhodes is unhappy` and things like that.

“But you know what? That couldn`t be any further from the truth.

“It`s a terrific football club full of great people. I love coming in everyday and it`s a terrific environment to be in.

“I don`t know where these things come from. People add two and two together and come up with five or six. It`s just not a true story.”

Everyone got this? Or are there some words in there that can be twisted to explain his clear distress at not being able to move from one Championship club to another?
