The 2017-18 season continues with the latest round of games this weekend. This will see us among those involved with three points of course the aim.

Blackburn won for a first time in League One last weekend and face an MK Dons side that come to Ewood Park having also achieved a first victory in the previous outing too.

It’s been a solid start for Blackpool – winning won one, drawing one and losing one – with a home game again bottom side Oldham, who are yet to collect a point having lost all three.

Fleetwood are one of four sides with 100% records – they defend this is the trip to Bristol Rovers. Peterborough and Shrewsbury have also won three from three so far, they visit Northampton and Oxford, respectively.

The other side yet to suffer defeat are Wigan, currently top of League One on goal difference. The latest challenge to this comes from Portsmouth, who won the League Two title last season when current Latics boss Paul Cook was in charge at Pompey.

It goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result. But will this happen? We’ll find out soon enough.
