Well Done Josh Morris

Blackburn Rovers utility man Josh Morris, I call him that on account of the fact he can play in defence or midfield, looks to be enjoying a successful loan with Fleetwood Town.

Gary Bowyer decided that Morris was another that was able to leave Ewood Park during the season in order to go and get some First-Team football with another Football League club so he left for Fleetwood where he teamed up with his fellow Rovers team mate Alex Marrow, who had also having an impressive loan with our Lancashire rivals but has been limited in his appearances

Morris is definitely benefiting from this as I’ve noticed that he’s added some goals to his game, he scored in successive games for Fleetwood, but impressed enough last month to win the League 2 Player of the Month Award.

Well done Mr Morris.

It’ll be interesting to see what Bowyer decides to do with the 22-year-old in the summer, he’d previously done enough to earn contract extension at Ewood Park but with his contract expiring this summer and him not featuring at all under the Rovers Manager this season you’d expect him to be released.

Should this happen (as I expect) then signing for Fleetwood seems a good bet with him a player they’ll benefit from having around be it as a League 1 club (as they’re in the Play-Offs) or League 2.
