Bowyer’s job not under threat

Rovers manager Gary Bowyer’s position as manager is not under threat.

Reports surfaced yesterday on Sports Direct News (dont’ ask) that Rovers are considering their options for manager with Ian Holloway in the frame but these have been quickly found out to be nonsense.

Managing Director Derek Shaw and Gary Bowyer have both confirmed that they are in Pune for the next few days but the meeting with Mrs Desai is a scheduled meeting during the international break and is related to the January transfer window.

Rovers currently sit 13th in the Championship and are facing discussions over the next few days over how to press forward whilst maintaining and reducing the large debt that hangs over the club.
