Youngsters Stay With Southport

Blackburn Rovers youngsters John O’Sullivan and Kellen Daly have extended their loans at Conference Premier League side Southport.

John Coleman approached Blackburn to take 20-year-old midfielder O’Sullivan and 19-year-old defender Daly on loan a month ago and with Southport impressed with their contributions so far they requested to extend their loans until the end of the season, and this request has been accepted.

O’Sullivan (who has appeared once for the Rovers first team) has played four matches with Daly playing twice but so far neither has managed to be on the winning side!! If one, or both, are going to have a long term future at Ewood Park the more first team football they can get with Southport the better at the moment.
